95 points James Halliday
"Deeply coloured, displaying an ebullient personality combining red and black fruits with Asian spices and sappy elements on display; the palate is luscious and intense, densely packed with tannins, fruitcake spice, and whilst robust and chewy, maintains a certain level of freshness; this will keep the biggest of big red lovers happy indeed."

Hand-picked, and wild yeast-fermented, whole berries; the crimson colour is followed by a very fragrant, red fruit bouquet, followed by a supple, full and rich palate, finishing with distinct spice; French oak new to five years old; 525 dozen made from 75-year-old vines.
