Derived from vines planted in 1971 by Hardys for their premium wines (including Eileen Hardy varieties).
The fruit is whole bunch pressed, with stainless steel fermentation.
Matured in 40% new French Oak, with the balance in 2 year old French Oak for 15 months. The wine exhibits blackberry and chocolate characters with notes of spearmint. Has fine tannins with a wonderful length on the palate.
