"St Ignatius" Cabernet/Merlot/Malbec/Cabernet Franc
It's a new vintage and very very good. Deep red with a purple hue, the aromas are loaded with sweet red berry fruits. This is backed up by the palate that is full of lifted fruit, blackberries and plum form the Cabernets, with spice from the Malbec creeping through. A complex wine, with firm tannins, well-balanced oak and acids that lead to a lingering finish. This wine of great stature, named after the founder of the Jesuits, St Ignatius. Have it with a grilled steak and roasted vegetables.
