Clarnette & Ludvigsen
This product is sold out
The 2013 Clarnette and Ludvigsen Shiraz is expertly crafted from a rare clone of Shiraz, grown exclusively in the Grampians. We select our grapes from the lowest yeilding vines, growing on our deep red clay-loams, which combine to provide structure and balance to our wines. Flavours come early and so does the colour, enabled by the strength of the climate, soil, clone, trellis system and terrior of our vineyard site. The 2013 delivers a rich generous flavour of luscious sweet fruit with depth of colour. The bouquet has volumes of blueberries and spice, that promises a serious wine offering of affordable quality. The palate exhibits velvety sweet blueberries and ripe raspberries notes with a touch of spicy liquorice; it's mid-weight palate is soft and opulent and will grow over time.
