Established in 2004, Maverick Wines owns 100 acres of the best situated vinyards, across Barossa and Eden Valleys, with approximately half of the vines over 50 years old, and many much older. Utilising biodynamic and sustainable agricultural practices, each wine is produced from estate grown fruit, with low yields resulting in optimum and unique wine qualities. Production is limited by the individual vinyard sites, which ensures the emphasis is on tailor made high quality wines. Maverick Wines objective is to make elegant, understated single vinyard, varietak wines in the style of the Northern Rhone, perfect either consumed by themselves or to complement food.
