Pinot Noir
Produced from what are amongst the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the Valley, this wine, along with the Chardonnay, has developed an underground following over its existence that is slowly burgeoning to be recognised as standing in equipollence alongside the, historically, more fancied wines from the estate.
James Halliday says about the 2007:
Excellent hue and depth; aromas of plum and black cherry lead into a finely boned and structured palate, the fruit and tannins in perfect unison right through to the very long finish. Cork.
13.5% alc. Rating 95 Drink 2014 Date Tasted Sep 09
