Cabernet
Deep and meaty in its expression – a fleshy and red cedar-like undertone lines the typically velvety texture. Lifted and fresh, this cuvee requires a minimum of 5 years before it starts to soften fully and develop a candid exuberance that defines a dark fruit bias with cabernet lift.

Clarendon Hills
2006 Hickinbotham Cabernet: "The 2006 Cabernet Hickinbotham Vineyard is a glass-coating deep crimson color. It is the most muscular and densely packed of the Cabernets. Opulent, full-bodied, and intensely flavored, the wine has more than enough structure to evolve in the bottle for a decade or more. It should provide pleasure through 2030." 94-97 POINTS
2006 Romas Grenache: "The 2006 Grenache Romas Vineyard comes from the top triangle of the Blewitt Springs vineyard and provides only half the crop. It is the tightest and most structured of the Grenaches with a nose of toast, smoke, earth, black cherry and black raspberry. Full-bodied and very rich, this impeccably balanced wine conceals enough tannin to permit 8-10 years of evolution in bottle. Drink it through 2030." 93-96 POINTS
